Eat Food. Not Too Much. Mostly Plants. |
My health and fitness history has been a long, complicated, confusing history and I feel as if for once, I feel in control and happy about my lifestyle choices and I feel good about my body. I take very seriously the fact that your body is your instrument and since you are only given one body, it's important to take care of it. I'm still learning but I'd like to continue feeling and looking healthy, and this blog is a way for me to stay on track to do it. Also, this is pretty much strictly my food/exercise blog. I have a personal blog as well, so if you're interested just shoot me a message! :) |

Sit ups are the bane of my existence.
Yesterday I managed 100 before I fell asleep on my living room floor during a break.
My body hurts so much, but I did decide to get up early this morning to go to the gym. I ran for about twenty minutes, and finished 50 push ups. I have 50 push ups and 200 sit ups left for the day. It’s a good thing it’s only 9am.
:) That is all.
because I’m too cool for ice packs.
I ran to Three chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone on Audio today :)
Who knew that Hogwarts could be such a great motivator/distraction to exercise!?
And 5 miles, too!
Easter has not done my stomach any good. I started Easter off well with some cottage cheese and shredded apple. I went for a run soon after, and then we had brunch. Brunch was not all that bad and I had one pastry which I wasn’t upset about in the least because it’s okay to indulge once in a while!
Then…we played Canasta as a family. Unfortunately the Easter basket my mother gave me was within reaching distance, so naturally I had some chocolate.
Since then, my eating habits have been a little obscured and my stomach is yelling at me for my slip up.
Regardless, I hit the treadmill today and ran 5k. I still feel like it’s not enough and I have more to burn off, but I also need to remember that I haven’t taken a rest day in a long time…so I should probably take it easy if possible.
Don’t be afraid to indulge a little; in moderation, of course! :) Chocolate is delicious!
